What is Motivational Mindset Coaching?
Mindset coaching is a dynamic form of therapy that aims to get to the root cause of what is holding you back
and stopping you from living the life you feel you deserve.
- It starts with building rapport and trust which is crucial in order for you to be able to move forward.
- It gives you an opportunity to look in great depth at what is getting in your way and preventing you from living a fulfilled happy healthy life.
- It allows you to focus on where you want to be in the future – your goals and aspirations – we can so often get stuck in the now making
- it harder to think about the future.
- It excites your subconscious mind to make those changes easily and quickly.
- It involves a blend of several techniques such as hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) visualisation, spiritual and emotional grounding, coaching and psychotherapy. The exact techniques will be tailored to you and your needs – this is not a one-size fits all approach.
What will happen in a Mindset Coaching Session?
Before you book in for your initial consultation we will have had an opportunity to speak on the phone, usually through the Complimentary Discovery Call.
The first part of the consultation lasts approximately 1.5 hours. It’s the essential starting point to begin to dig deep into your issues/challenges and look at what is causing you to feel in pain, fearful and/or stuck in a habit or behaviour.
We then move on to relaxation hypnotherapy part.
Once you are deeply relaxed, we can begin the ‘ transformational change process’ using techniques and approaches to help you towards attaining your goals.
There is plenty of opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, receive a summary of the session and progress made so far.
Throughout the course of your programme you will be given homework to support the learning and processing of your transformation and growth.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses the power of suggestion to encourage positive change.
As a qualified Hypnotherapist, with nearly two decades of experience, I apply relaxation techniques to help you reach a state where the conscious part of your mind is relaxed and your subconscious part is more open to suggestion.
When you reach that point I use suggestion techniques (where I ‘speak ’ to your subconscious). When your subconscious feels safe, secure and excited about the change you wish to make, that’s when change happens.
As part of your programme I write and record for you your own unique booster mindset reboot programme. In essence, a hypnotic suggestion to excite your subconscious to help you make the changes you identify, naturally, confidently and quickly.
Will I feel out of control during hypnosis?
Throughout your hypnosis session you will feel relaxed and at ease. You will also remain fully conscious throughout. Everyone experiences something quite different. A bit like a pleasant dreaming state where you drift in and out of consciousness.
Hypnosis is not about being unconscious. It is about changing the unconscious mind, which is where all your fears, phobias, bad habits and limiting beliefs are stored.
Whilst you are in hypnosis it is possible for you to allow your mind to become so relaxed that you don’t fully remember what I’ve said during that part of the session. I will explain exactly why this happens and why it’s not important that you remember at a conscious level what has been said.
Is hypnosis safe?
Yes 100% safe. As a fully qualified professional Hypnotherapist, practising for the last 18 years, hypnosis is a safe, complementary and alternative medical treatment. However, hypnosis is not suitable for people with severe mental illness.
Hypnosis has been recognised by the British Medical Association as an approved treatment and it has now developed into a science.
How will I know if this is right for me?
You will have plenty of opportunity to know if this is suitable for you.
Before you book in for your programme we will have had an opportunity to speak on the phone, usually on the Complimentary Discovery Call.
On that call I will use the opportunity to discuss your issue, what you want to resolve and achieve. It’s an opportunity to explore your personal situation and information such as sleeping patterns, lifestyle, health symptoms and any treatments involving other healthcare providers.
On the call I offer you an explanation of how the hypnotherapy mindset coaching process will work and if it’s the right programme for you.
We will go through all the practical details such as cost, cancellation policy, and the right programme for you and how many sessions will be needed.
What if I can’t be hypnotised?
During the Complimentary Discovery Call and the initial consultation it will become clear if you are susceptible to being hypnotised. If during the session, you can’t there are a variety options you may like to take and will be discussed during the session.
Do I need to come to you?
Over the years I have fine tuned a variety of different ways to work with clients. During your Discovery Call we will identify the best way for you to access your sessions.
The way in which I work and help people can either be done face to face or online via Skype. I don’t want time or travel to be a barrier for you getting the help and support you need and deserve.
Will I still get the same results if it’s via Skype rather than face to face?
Yes, your programme is tailored towards getting the maximum results whether online or face to face.
How do the online sessions work? Do I need to download any software?
When I work with clients remotely we need to be able to see one another. We either use Zoom, Skype or Facetime, whatever suits you. If you are not familiar with any of these apps, let me reassure you – they are all free to download on your phone, tablet, computer or laptop.
