The onset of the menopause for many women can be a huge struggle to cope with. Not just because of the physical and hormonal changes. The menopause comes at a time when we are dealing with lots of change- such as juggling the needs of elderly parents, divorce, children going to university, flying the nest, moving through puberty etc as well as changing work situations.

This is a subject close to my heart. Because I know that for me I found in the beginning when I  hit the menopause the night time sweats, the stress and anxiety and resulting panic attacks difficult and overwhelming. All of this came at a time when I was juggling a significant career change and the growing needs and (challenges) of teenage daughters.
